Collaborations with Hyatt Hotel Vancouver

My very first mural! I had the incredible opportunity to create it for the Hyatt Hotel Vancouver. Drawn to my Woodland Art style, they invited me to design a piece to bring warmth and beauty to the space while construction for the new Starbucks was underway. The theme was springtime, a theme so full of life and possibility. I chose pink as the central colour—a hue that, for me, captures the essence of spring’s renewal and energy. The mural depicts a tender scene of a mother bear and her cub, surrounded by cherry blossoms. These delicate blooms not only symbolize the arrival of spring but also reflect the charm of Vancouver during this season. It was an honour to create something that could bring joy to the public. This mural was displayed from April 2024 – June 2024.

The Hyatt Hotel Vancouver approached me to create a window sticker celebrating both Indigenous History Month and Pride Month. It was an honour to design a piece that pays tribute to both communities. The design is inspired by the Ojibwe Woodland Art style, incorporating colours that represent various Pride flags. The wolf on the right features the colours of the transgender flag, the central figures showcase the Pride flag, and the bear on the left reflects the lesbian flag. This piece is a quiet celebration of diversity and unity. This sticker was displayed from June 2024 to August 2024
